China has formed a complete non-woven fabric industry chain
In 2015, the 2nd Asia-Pacific Non-woven Fabrics Industry Forum was held in Shanghai and learned from the forum that China already has a complete non-woven fabric industry chain and has become the largest non-woven fabric producer in the world. In the next 10 years, it will maintain its rapid growth .
Statistics of China's industrial textile industry associations show that in 2014, the growth rate of economic added value of China's textile industry was only 7%, lower than the national GDP growth rate. However, industrial textiles, including non-woven fabrics, increased by 11.7% Growth to lead the textile industry, a new economic growth pole. Li Lingshen, president of the association, said that the rapid growth of the nonwovens industry has benefited from the huge domestic market demand and the scientific and technological progress of the industry. In 2014, the output of non-woven fabric in China reached 4.36 million tons, up 12.2% over the same period of last year. The main business income and total profit of enterprises above designated size increased by 13.73% and 6.28% respectively, the industry profit margin 6.06% and industry investment in fixed assets increased 44.2% , Foreign exports increased by 17.2%, these indicators reflect the industry's good momentum of development.
Medical and health is an important application of non-woven fabrics. Our country is a major producer of disposable hygiene products, covering products for women's hygiene, baby diapers, adult incontinence products and wipes. China's exports of the above three categories of products have exceeded 1.5 billion U.S. dollars in 2014, second only to Germany as the world's second largest exporter. The medical textiles in our country at this stage mainly focus on medical protection and health care products with relatively low technical contents. Surgical sutures, artificial blood vessels and other implantable and artificial viscera products have been in the basic research stage due to technical backwardness and industrial barriers and other reasons; in the high value-added biomedical textile materials and developed countries, the gap was significant.
Compared with developed countries, the advantages of non-woven fabrics in China are mainly concentrated in the production and manufacturing sectors. The gaps mainly lie in product development, marketing, application and promotion. Experts suggest that to solve these problems and narrow the gap with advanced countries in developed countries, experts and government departments, industry organizations, research institutions and enterprises should work together to make pioneering efforts in technological innovation, industrial chain collaboration, industrial integration and market promotion , Jointly promote the technological progress of the industry and industrial restructuring and upgrading.
